Bleecker Street Pizza’s authentic Tuscan thin-crust pizza is a family tradition, passed down through generations. It has been served in the family’s home for four generations, and fond memories of Grandma Nonna Maria’s delectable pizza inspired the owner to bring the recipe to America. Nonna left her birthplace of Tuscany at age nineteen, bringing with her the family recipe for the mouthwatering pizza she claimed was the reason her husband married her.
The tantalizing aroma and sublime flavor are brought to you all the way from Tuscany, and Bleecker Street Pizza hopes Nonna’s pizza will bring the same enjoyment to New York City that it brought to her family for generations.
The Nonna Maria
The Grandma
The House Special Pie
Eggplant Parmigiana
Baked Ziti
Generous House Salad
Delivery takes FOREVER. Not worth it. The pizza is kinda weird, sweet, crunchy, very red, didn't like it. The calzone on the otherhand was not too bad. Best pizza in NYC? That's laughable!

This restaurant never ever delivers on time. 30-45 minutes always ends up being 1 hour. Not worth the wait.

it was ok. Garlic bread was yesterdays fresh bread. but hey. what do you expect. its a pizza place. The baked ziti was ok, but the noodles were too soft to pick up with a fork most of the time. Half of them the fork just slid through the noodle. I'd order from them again, but maybe I'd stick to the pizza.

I think those putting 5 stars are fake because this was one of the WORST pizzas I have ever eaten in the area. There is absolutely no logic to the raves here.

If they deliver your order in less than an hour then the pizza/food is about room temp. They will forget your soda, meatballs, or any other extra and when you call back to ask for them not to charge you they will tell you you get a discount on your next order.... So doesn't really work on Seamless. I have ordered from them too many times and every time it's been upsetting... too bad the few times the food was warm it was good.

Once again, they sent the wrong food. The girl laughed and her biggest concern was whether she could recoup the meatball sub (I ordered chicken parm). Third time I have order blue cheese with salad and received Italian dressing. She said they dont have blue cheese. I said take it off the menu then. She checked. "Oh, maybe we do have blue cheese." I am sorry but don't reward bad behavior by supporting Bleecker Street Pizza.

The pizza was about 15 minutes late, but it was well worth the wait. The Nonna Maria pizza was a big hit, and I'll be ordering from them for all our future events. Update: Pizza came early, everyone was happy. Definitely going to order from them again.

Called after an hour to ask where my order was; they told me it wouldn't even go out for another half hour after that. Is melted cheese on bread really so complicated? There are so many other good pizza joints in the neighborhood, don't bother dealing with these guys.

This place is overrated...didn't get my order right when it finally came over an hour after I ordered it

The pizza was tasteless and as hard as the cardboard box it arrived in. The chicken roll was not what you would expect when ordering a chicken roll. It was made with lemon and parsley chicken and had no marinara sauce. The wings were dry. Everything tasted as if it had been sitting around for a few hours. Also, the food took 50 mins to arrive. Will not order again.

they never delivered the food and lied about it twice when i called to find out where my order was. I waited TWO hours. I tried to send a customer complaint to their website which also was returned because their email address isn't working. HORRIBLE customer service. AND AGAIN....THEY DIDN'T EVEN DELIVER MY ORDER! They have one star here because a rating is required to review.

I am back living in the West Village (thank god) and friends kept telling me to skip Joe's and try Bleecker Street Pizza. It took a few months but I have to admit they were right. My new favorite pizza shop is definately Bleecker Street and my favorite slice is the fresh mozz, they call it the Nonna Maria, whatever. Best slice I have ever had, period.

Best pizza in nyc hands down

Really inconsistent - if you are ordering stick with the pizza. Nothing else on the menu is worthwhile.

Pizza came burnt. And they were total jerks when I called them up about it. Inexcusable.

Cold pizza.

The pizza was fine, nothing special. The onions I paid $3.00 for were forgotten from our pizza and the delivery came in 45 minutes not 15-30. The sausage sandwich I ordered came with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce even though the cheese was not listed on the menu. There was way too much sauce resulting in a soggy mess that while somewhat tasty, was falling apart and impossible to pick up.

Ive tried most pizza places below 23rd street and Bleecker Street Pizza is definetely my favorite. Their signature pie , Nonna Maria is positively out of this world. All of the pizza types there are excellent or better. The dinners and the salads are top quality & plenty of food.

Six years living in west village, this is the best pizza hands down.Try the Nona Marie pie (best sauce I have ever had- they should sell it bottled). Other favorites - Mushroom pizza (fresh mushrooms not canned) great plain pizza and toppings. Their heros are more than a meal and great house salad for a pizza place (or any restaurant).

Sauce is perfect, but the dough was rock hard.

AWFUL delivery experience recently. 1.5 hours to bring me a tasteless mush backed ziti. Ordered the baked ziti cause it was a favorite dish. Just a waste of food. stick to the pizza.

As a native New Yorker I was extremely disappointed with this place. The order took nearly an hour to arrive and when it did the cheese had completely slid off the pizza! It was like eating pizza soup in a box. So very upset, I had heard good things about this place and as I am new to this neighborhood I can say I will look elsewhere for pizza. Extremely bummed, and will never order from this place again.

The quintessential ny slice. The fresh mozzarella slice is the best I ever had.

Bleeker Street is our favorite pizza place in the village. We order the Nonna Maria every Friday (Pizza Day!!). The sauce to cheese to crust ratio is perfect on this pizza. Their chicken rolls are also great, but make sure to ask for extra marinara sauce on the side. The sauce is really delicious and they give it to you free (if you call and ask nicely).
